It is with heavy hearts that we announce that Distinguished Toastmaster Kenneth Henz passed away in his sleep early in the morning on Wed May 29th.

He was a passionate and dedicated member of the “A Life Like Yours” club. He was also a past member of the Belvoir, McNamara HQC and Springhill Speakers clubs.  Our hearts and deepest condolences go out to his wife Juanita.  Ken will be missed.

The family is asking that in lieu of flowers donations be made to The ARC of Northern Virginia, 2755 Hartland Road, Suite 200, Falls Church, VA 22043, where Ken was the founder and mentor of both People First’s A Life Like Yours Toastmasters Club and People First for Young Adults Gavel Club.

    Ken was such a wonderful, kind and loving person. He was always eager to help you. He helped me as a Contest Master in conducting Area Contest when i was Area 21 Director. we will miss him as a Coach, Mentor and a heartfelt Friend. Bharat Patel
