Vision: To be an incubator for effective leaders to step into formal and informal leadership roles and actively contribute to the betterment of Toastmasters, their communities, their schools, their civic, volunteer, and religious organizations, their professional organizations and their workplaces. The club’s members strive to meet the need for leadership in all walks of life. What is the same as any other Toastmasters Club? Ø Same meeting format: prepared speeches, Table Topics, evaluations Ø Full commitment to Pathways What’s different? Ø Emphasis on leadership development aspect of Pathways Ø Leadership roles also evaluated Ø Emphasis on mentoring and coaching Ø Develop speaking and communication skills as a component of effective leadership Ø Help members identify and develop their leadership style as a long-term development process Ø Help members identify and leverage leadership development opportunities Ø Will include a reading program and outside speakers Ø Proposal: Members read and report on one book/per year Ø Invite guest speakers twice a year Provides a forum to discuss leadership issues and challenges.
