Dulles South Toastmasters Open House

Join us for an Open House on September 14, 2025. We are thrilled to share our passion to learn with you. Let’s Grow Together! We will kick off with a social networking segment starting at 3:15 pm. Dulles South Toastmasters Club meets on the 2nd and 4th Sunday at 3:30 pm ET.  Our meetings are hybrid – in-person attendance at Gum Spring Library, 24600 Millstream Drive, Stone Ridge, VA 20105 and virtual attendance via Zoom are available. We provide a supportive and positive learning experience in which members are empowered to develop communication and leadership skills, resulting in greater self-confidence and personal growth. From Speaker to Trainer

REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED   We will have a waiting list From Speaker to Trainer workshop In Person This is an all day FREE In person training to help you learn the differences between giving a speech and delivering a training and facilitating a meeting.   About this event Do you want to learn how to become a successful trainer Do you want to present at TLIs? Do you want to learn how to present virtual trainings? Present interesting, engaging trainings? Come attend this one day FREE workshop IN PERSON !   In this highly interactive workshop you will learn the basics of how to put a training plan together, how to be an enthusiastic and highly effective trainer, how to deal with difficult people in the training and more! Voices of Mount Pleasant Toastmasters Club Hosts Successful 2nd Annual Open House to Inspire New Speakers

Voices of Mount Pleasant Toastmasters Club, part of District 29, held its highly anticipated 2nd Annual Open House on Sunday, June 22, 2025, welcoming guests and potential new members for an inspiring afternoon of public speaking, leadership, and community engagement.   The Open House was conducted as a lively, hands-on Toastmasters meeting, giving attendees an authentic look into how club meetings are structured, with a dedicated Toastmaster of the Day, powerful prepared speeches, spirited Table Topics, and thoughtful evaluations. Guests were able to experience firsthand how the Toastmasters Program helps individuals build confidence, sharpen their communication skills, and become more effective speakers and leaders.   “Our goal with this Open House was to show the power and value of the Toastmasters experience,” said Club President Niecie Houston. “Whether you’re looking to overcome a fear of public speaking or to take your leadership skills to the next level, our club provides an inviting supportive environment for personal and professional growth.”   Several guests expressed strong interest in joining the club, inspired by the energy of the meeting, the professionalism of the speakers, and the warm, welcoming atmosphere. The club anticipates new memberships as a result of the event, further strengthening its mission to empower individuals through communication and leadership development.   Voices of Mount Pleasant Toastmasters meets twice a month on the second and fourth Tuesday at 7:00pm in person and virtually.
