District 29 is seeking to charter a new club that celebrates women’s voices — “Hear Me Roar,” named after the iconic song by Helen Reddy.

The prospective club meets every second and fourth Monday via Zoom from 12pm – 1pm. While anyone may join, the club has a specialized focus on celebrating and elevating women’s voices. Club Sponsor Mara Harrington is forming the club to help women “find their voice” and “to be more effective advocates for themselves and the causes they care about.”
A special meeting will be held Monday, March 22nd from 12pm – 1pm with award-winning speaker and executive mentor, Talisa Thomas-Hall, DTM.  Her speech, “Roar: The Power of Voice” — is going to be packed with power.
