George Gilbert delivers entertaining, dynamic, and informative speeches on the importance and benefits of laughter in various areas of our lives. He spreads his message about humor across the country. In 2001, “due to his professionalism and outstanding achievements in public speaking”, he was awarded the title of Accredited Speaker becoming the 50th person in the world to achieve this designation. George’s show business background gives him a commanding stage presence. His parents were regarded as one of the funniest comedy / variety acts of their time. George started out by performing stand-up comedy, at the age of twelve, at the Disneyland Hotel. He then went on to entertain at comedy clubs, conventions, and for various business organizations. After graduating from the University of Nevada Las Vegas with a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, George segued his comedy into public speaking.

George’s mission is to provide information and inspiration to corporations and professional organizations by demonstrating, in an entertaining format, how humor can benefit their businesses and lives.
For over forty years George’s mother and father, Tulara Lee and George Gilbert (Sr.), were considered one of the funniest comedy/variety acts of their time. They appeared with Jack Benny, Bob Hope, and Jimmy Durante. They toured with Frank Sinatra, Xavior Cugat and Rowan & Martin’s “Laugh In,” among others. Their act was featured in the Warner Brother’s movie, “The Daughter Of Rosie O’Grady”. They also appeared many times on the Ed Sullivan Show.
