The District Leadership Committee (DLC) is pleased to announce the Call for Nominations for members of the District Leadership for the 2025-2026 program year.
The work of the District Leadership Committee (DLC) is critical in ensuring long-term District success. The DLC’s role is to identify, seek, and confirm qualified candidates in order to nominate the best candidate(s) for elected District offices.
Every year, District 29 elections are held at the Annual Business Meeting. The elected roles are:
- District Director
- Program Quality Director
- Club Growth Director
- Seven (7) Division Directors
**Area Directors, Administration Manager, Finance Manager and Public Relations Manager are appointed by the District Director.
If you or someone you know would make a great District 29 leader, please follow the steps below:
1. Complete the Nominating Form for yourself or for another eligible candidate
2. Nominations must be sent to the DLC chair, Chalese Gilmore, DTM, IPDD at [email protected] and accepted until 11:59 p.m. EST on Saturday, February 15, 2025.
3. Candidates will be notified of their nominations as soon as received and will be invited to submit their candidate biography form (please hyperlink the form), their photo, and the District Leader Agreement and Release form (please hyperlink the form) to the DLC Chair.
4. Prepare for candidate interviews in March.
5. Once nominated by the DLC after the interviews, a candidate may prepare their campaign following Protocol 9.0.
