Geographically Speaking Celebration (Restricted Access)

Attendance Restrictions: NGA civilians, military, and contractor support are welcome to visit us at the Kick-off. Visiting members of the IC, as well. Club Membership is open to any of these groups, depending on supervisor approvals. Contractors follow the appropriate rules to participate.

•     Who: Geographically Speaking Toastmasters Club (Club #3660)

•     When: October 2nd (Monday) from 12-2pm EST

•     Where: Arthur Lundahl Conference Center (NGA – Washington Campus) at the Executive Conf. Room (E16066)

•     Why: In addition to celebrating the 60 years that this Geographically Speaking Toastmasters Club has existed, we intend to promote Toastmasters to the NGA workforce as an opportunity to grow their speaking & leadership skills. We will have various speakers & Toastmasters leadership discussing personal development through Toastmasters, the history of the club, and ways to get involved.

o     Mission: The mission of a Toastmaster Club is to provide a mutually supportive and positive learning environment in which every member has the opportunity to develop communication and leadership skills, which in turn foster self-confidence and personal growth.
