❖ HOW TO CREATE A SPEECH IN 12 MINUTES
Presented by Edmond Joe, DTM
This interactive session teaches you how to easily create a Toastmasters speech – all in 12 minutes. Eliminate Toastmasters meetings where there are no prepared speeches.
❖ HOW TO CONDUCT A NEW MEMBER ORIENTATION
Presented by Narayanan Doraswamy, DTM
New members generally get left to their own devices once they have been signed up. There are myriad websites to navigate including toastmasters.org, FreeToastHost district websites etc. each offering different things to the new members. Plus, they need to be oriented to the club culture and way of doing things. This is an activity where the ball gets dropped in Toastmasters. Attend this hands-on workshop to learn how to set up your new members to be successful Toastmasters.
❖ MEMBERSHIP RETENTION
Presented by Al Rivera, VC5
Why do people join Toastmasters? Why do they stay or leave? How do we keep member interest? How do we maximize member retention in our Clubs? Attend this session to learn and participate.
❖ BEST PRACTICES FOR CORPORATE CLUBS
Presented by Paula Green, DTM
This session is for corporate club members and will share pain points and offer help in the form of recommendations and best practices. lf you experience challenges with a meeting, challenges as a club member, or corporate constraints and limitations on your club, this session will provide a forum to have an open dialogue to brainstorm and develop potential solutions to our collective challenges.
❖ HOW TO GET THE MOST OUT OF FREETOASTHOST
Presented by Cheryl Baker, DTM, and Narayanan Doraswamy, DTM
It is more important than ever that your club web site both attract guests and is a functional resource for members. You don’t need to be an HTML geek to make your web site more successful. ln this session we will look at tips, tricks and resources to make your club web site a better experience for guests and members. Additionally, we will take a look at using social media as a means to attract new members and keep current members engaged.

I would like to attend the President & V-P Education TLI training, but the training is offered at the same time. What other options that are available for me? Thanks.
We suggest that you attend one of the core training sessions on January 8 as well as the next TLI, which is February 6.
Is there a minimum number or type of sessions we need to attend for our club to get credit for our attendance?
For officers to get credit, they need to attend one officer session in summer and winter
