Falls Church, Virginia, Feb 2023 – PMIWDC#01 Toastmasters Club welcomed Yoodli’s co-founder and Chief Executive Officer, Varun Puri, as its guest speaker on February 21, 2023, to demonstrate this artificial intelligence-based application that provides instant speech analysis on any speech uploaded or recorded in real-time. In attendance at the meeting were several District 29 leaders, including District Director Rick Taylor, DTM, Club Growth Director Paula Green, DTM, Public Relations Manager Edmond Joe, DTM, and Division C Director Lynn Ann Mullane, DTM.
Varun provided some background on Yoodli, explained the company name, described the product’s capabilities and features, and shared why he wanted to make a product that helps people speak with more confidence. Yoodli analyzes both the content and the delivery if any speech. Varun gave a live demonstration on how easy and quickly this analysis completes. He showed how a speech can be sent to other people for their speech evaluation any time. Yoodli is a startup company based in Seattle, Washington. It took one year to develop the product and launched in 2020. The company currently consists of seven employees. In December 2022, Toastmasters International announced a partnership with Yoodli to bring AI speech coaching to 149 countries.
